Times of San Diego. January 2, 2019 -- Attorney Irwin Zalkin announced today that his firm will be representing hundreds of survivors of sexual abuse by priests who will be filing new lawsuits against the San Diego Catholic Diocese. The survivors are able to seek civil justice under the provisions of AB 218, California's new statute of limitations law. This new law gives older victims previously barred by the old statute of limitations the ability to file civil claims for the next three years.
