ABC7 News. December 18, 2019 -- Irwin Zalkin joined with Attorney Gilion Dumas to announce the filing of new sexual abuse lawsuits against several California Boy Scout Councils. The new lawsuits will be filed on behalf of 14 victims who were sexually molested as children while they were participating in scouting programs. Zalkin and Dumas were joined by several of these survivors at a news conference in Los Angeles on December 18th. The lawsuits will be filed in January 2020 under California's new statute of limitations law, AB 218.
