You can never be too careful if you suspect that your child was inappropriately touched by an adult. You should immediately have the child evaluated by a physician and preferably a pediatric specialist. These doctors are trained in what to look for, they are trained to determine if there in fact has been some inappropriate contact and they are mandatory reporters so they will report what their suspensions are to law enforcement and engage law enforcement in an investigative process.
