Devin Storey received a B.A. from California State University, Long Beach in 2001. In 2004, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Whittier College of Law where he was an active member of the Whittier Law Review, the Student Bar Association and the Moot Court Honors Board. Devin was awarded the Best Overall Competitor and Best Brief awards for the Fall 2002 Internal Moot Court Competition.
He was also a Regional Semi-Finalist at the National Moot Court Competition in the Fall of 2004 and was awarded the Whittier Moot Court Honors Board Excellence in Appellate Advocacy Award in 2004. Devin received CALI: Excellence for the Future Awards in Bankruptcy, Business Planning, Community Property, Corporate Tax, Pre-Trial Litigation, Remedies and Secured Transactions.
Devin joined the Zalkin Law Firm in December of 2004 and has worked extensively on behalf of survivors of childhood sexual abuse since that time. Devin has advocated for victims of sexual abuse before trial courts throughout the state, as well as before the Second District Court of Appeal where he obtained a published opinion in McVeigh v. Does (2006) 138 Cal.App.4th 898. Devin has also successfully handled complex product liability and negligence actions against some of the largest companies in the United States.
